    Siahga (pronounced see-ah-ga), the wild mushroom used in our products, is just one of the 14,000 mushroom species that are known. Mycologists estimate about 140,000 on Earth! It is not the same as the more common chaga mushroom which has kidney damaging oxalates.

    Siahga is a conk mushroom, which means it grows on trees and does not have a cap or stem. It has been used by Native American medicine men and women of the Northern Plateau People of the Columbia River basin for thousands of years. The Nez Perce tribe called the mushroom 'Siahga' which means 'To Give Life' or 'Healing'. They have recently chosen to share Siahga with the world so everyone may receive its healing benefits.
